The luxury Italian fashion house Valentino was founded in 1960 by fashion designer Valentino Garavani. The company launched its first perfume, Valentino Classique, for women in 1978. While Garavani created the original brand vision, the fragrance division has since evolved under different creative leaderships and fragrance licenses.
